STAN SANDERS

Painting
Stan Sanders is a two and three-dimensional artist and designer, bringing more than six decades of painting to his studio on the fourth floor of Mainframe Studios.
“Marketing my oil paintings since I was 18, in a different time, I successfully supported myself producing art, covering costs of my second year at the University of Colorado—tuition, books, room and board—selling dozens of small canvases over ten-months. I have many works in private collections around the World.”
Sanders has been influenced by his Aunt, Elaine Oliver; Alaska resident artist Anna Elizabeth (Betty) Park; and Dr. Phyllis Yes, among a few others. He studied production pottery and throwing from the wheel with Al Tennent, and sculpture with Bruce West at Lewis and Clark College.
Sanders is currently painting subjects, including wilderness landscapes, farm-scapes, portraits, fantasy, and edgy conceptual paintings of the Human Condition.
