Mainframe Studios is committed to purposefully identifying, discussing, and challenging issues of race and the impact(s) they have on our organization, its systems, and the artists who work here. | Read our statement |

We began at our core, having staff participate in the Intercultural Development Inventory assessment for building cultural competence provided through CultureAll; and adding Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) members to our Board of Directors. Our Board is examining governance, finance, operational and tenant policies through an anti-racism lens. Work in these areas will be continuous.

Now, we are starting to develop a studio rent subsidy program for BIPOC artists with the understanding that economics plays a large role in America’s oppression of BIPOC.

Updates to the community will be ongoing as we take deliberate steps to ensure Black Lives Matter.
