Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa has named Keesha Ward as its new chief operating officer. Ward is formerly the assistant director of alumni relations at Drake University, where she oversaw Central Iowa alumni and volunteer programming. In her position at Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa, Ward will oversee the organization’s membership, product program, business services and girl experiences. In a news release, she said, “I’m excited to join this dynamic team and to bring my combination of leadership, empowerment and operations experience to a growing organization.” Ward’s first day is July 1.
