Oakridge Teen Tech Center Inspires New Generation of Creatives

The Oakridge Studio Teen Tech Center is a free space for all Des Moines people ages 13-21 to have access to and hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology. The studio also provides mentorship, inspiring peers, technical training, and college and career guidance that helps provide support and open doors. The program, powered by Wellpoint, has inspired and taught multiple teens already one of which is Israel “Izzy” Kelai who has grown his passion for photography and videography at the Oakridge Studio.
