Based out of Mainframe Studios at 900 Keo Way downtown Des Moines host Pat Boddy explores the intersection of arts and community through conversations with cultural producers and influencers in the Midwest.

Pat Boddy is an environmental engineer, water resources expert, accomplished harpist and respected community leader. Her son and artist Andy Davis share Studio #458 at Mainframe.

Pat received the 2019 Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute’s A. Arthur Davis Community Leadership Award for the impact that her work in the fields of journalism, the environment, engineering and advocacy have had across the state of Iowa. She is retired as Senior Partner of RDG Planning & Design where her work involved watershed planning and policy, community engagement and the integration of arts, public health and environment for community economic and cultural development. She spent nearly two decades as an Iowa Public Television interviewer and host with her work in broadcasting earning a Regional Emmy and the National Education Association’s Broadcast Excellence Award. She is a former chair of ISU’s Program for Women in Science and Engineering Board and she currently chairs the Great Outdoors Foundation Board of Directors. Pat is former Deputy and Interim Director of the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and past executive director of Polk County Conservation.
